Neil's AmeriCorps Spotlight - learn new skills and building techniques

Neil Kane has recently shaken up his career by joining Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity as a construction AmeriCorps member. In this role, Neil is not only committing his time and effort to the affordable housing cause but is also embarking on a personal journey of skill development and professional growth. As a construction AmeriCorps member, Neil will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on building projects that are vital to the mission of Habitat for Humanity, which focuses on providing affordable housing and repairs in our community.

This experience will allow him to learn a variety of building techniques, from framing and roofing to plumbing and electrical work. Each project he participates in will serve as a practical learning environment, enabling him to gain valuable insights involved in home building.
