Step 1: Documents Needed
In order for your application to be considered complete, you must submit the following documents (as they apply to your financial situation). Applications that are missing documents will be considered incomplete and will not be able to be considered.
A signed ECOA notice, available here
Income statements: Three months of pay stubs, child support verification (12-months worth), social security statements, retirement account statements, etc. Anyone 18-years and older in the household without income will be asked to complete a Zero Income Certificate.
Copy of your most recent federal tax return.
Six-months worth of current bank statements.
A copy of your current lease agreement.
A photo ID for all adults in the household. Include a permanent resident card if you are not a natural United States citizen.
Bankruptcy and discharge papers (if applicable).
Include a written explanation of any debts for which you have established payment plans. Provide written documentation from the debtor of the agreements you have made.

Step 3: Pay Credit Report Fee
Credit report fees of $25 per applicant may be paid online using the button above or paid via money order or check made out to Habitat for Humanity of Iowa and mailed to our office at:
