About the Event
Habitat Iowa hosts quarterly AmeriCorps Trainings. All members are required to attend. Alumni and supervisors are welcome to join. These are in-person and move locations each time. Most days will have guest speakers.
Qt 1- Nov 1, 9-4pm - Waterloo, Iowa | Theme: Affordable Housing and Volunteer Management
Qt 2- Jan 17 9-4pm - Des Moines, Iowa |Theme: Homelessness in Iowa, Conflict Management
Qt 3- April 18 9-4pm- Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Theme: Redlining, Employability skills
Qt 4- Jun 20 9-4pm - Altoona, Iowa| Theme: Advocacy, Board Practices, and Emotional Intelligence
Please arrive on time as we will have guest speakers for many of our topics each training day.
